HOW TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER COACH for REC (and Travel)
REC Coaches must complete all state requirements in steps 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 noted below.
You will not be assigned to a team until you meet all requirements and

STEP 1. REGISTER AS A VOLUNTEER on the WSA website: CLICK HERE
*Current WSA members, log into your existing account to register, do not create a duplicate account.

STEP 2. CJSA BACKGROUND CHECK REGISTRATION (BGC): CLICK HERE
IMPORTANT: If you already completed a BGC in fall 2018, you do not need to submit a new BGC. Any BGC completed prior to fall 2018 is considered obsolete and must be completed by clicking above. Clearance takes up to a week, so please complete asap. New BGCs are good for approx 2 years.
STEP 3. NAYS COACH TRAINING & MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM : CLICK HERE
Do not assume your current membership is still good! Double check it has not expired.
Membership is ($20 1yr or $35 2yr) and must include soccer and be valid thru June 20th, 2019
STEP 4. NAYS CONCUSSION TRAINING: CLICK HERE
If you have completed in the past or for another town sport program using Heads-Up, please send certificate to: jack_dewitt@hotmail.com . There is also an opportunity to take the CDC concussion training (free) when you complete your background check.
